1. Do you like eating chocolate? Why or why not?
Yes, I do enjoy eating chocolate bars as they boost my energy, especially when I play basketball. During school, if I have a long day, I tend to grab bite-size chocolate bar so I don’t feel hungry and can concentrate better on my studies.
2. How often do you eat chocolate?
At school, yes, but at home I rarely eat because I always have food readily available at home. I prefer different snacks, reserving chocolate for when I just need a sugar rush.
3. Did you often eat chocolate when you were a kid?
During my younger years, I had some chocolate, but my parents limited my consumption to protect my teeth. As I entered primary school, I learned to consume it moderately.
4. Why do you think chocolate is popular around the world?
I believe chocolate’s popularity is due to its addictive properties, similar to coffee and sugar. Additionally, it can be infused into other foods and pairs perfectly with various flavors. Lastly, it is relatively affordable compared to other confections.
5. What’s your favorite flavor of chocolate?
While dark chocolate is common in our country, I don’t prefer it as it is too bitter for my taste. My favorite is milk chocolate, and I often opt for imported chocolates from Europe due to their velvety taste, which local chocolate doesn’t have.
6. Do you think it is good to use chocolate as gifts for others?
I think people need to be careful since chocolate is an aphrodisiac and can carry romantic connotations. If you gift chocolate to someone, especially of the opposite gender, it might be seen as a sign of romantic interest.
1. Do you like eating chocolate? Why or why not?
I can’t say that I really enjoy or indulge in chocolate. For me, it’s more of an energy boost, especially at school when I need a quick fix. If I’m hungry after a long morning, a bite of a Snickers or any chocolate bar helps me get through the next few hours. The same goes for when I’m playing sports. However, I don’t usually imagine myself indulging in chocolate for pleasure.
2. How often do you eat chocolate?
I would say probably twice a week, especially on Thursdays when my morning classes are longer. Since we have PE class, I often need to eat chocolate to boost my energy.
3. Did you often eat chocolate when you were a kid?
I had my fair share of chocolate as a child, especially when my parents and their friends gave it to me. However, after I got a tooth decay, my consumption of sweets started to fade. I don’t remember exactly when it stopped, but eventually, sweets at home were restricted due to the risk of more serious dental issues.
4. Why do you think chocolate is popular around the world?
There are many factors, but I think chocolate is popular because it is a widely accepted flavor and versatile enough to be used in various foods. It can be bittersweet and savory, appealing to both children and adults. Even in high-class restaurants, chocolate is often used in dishes to add a creamy or savory element.
5. What’s your favourite flavour of chocolate?
In the UK, I tried chocolate with different spices that made it a bit spicy and savory. I would say that’s my favorite flavor because it’s unique and not easily accessible. You would need to visit the UK to experience that kind of dish.
6. Do you think it is good to use chocolate as a gift for others?
I believe chocolate is a good gift for people who appreciate food and consumables. Its price varies, so it can be accessible to people from different economic backgrounds. For those who enjoy receiving snacks or food as gifts, chocolate is definitely a good choice.
