1. Did you ever go fishing when you were a child?
Oh yeah, I did! My dad used to take me fishing when I was a kid. We’d head out early in the morning, usually to a lake nearby, and just spend the whole day there. I remember sitting on the edge of the boat, holding the rod, and waiting for what felt like forever for a fish to bite. It was one of those activities that taught me patience. Plus, it was more about spending time together than actually catching fish, you know? Looking back, those were some of the best memories—simple, peaceful, and full of lessons about life.
2. Do you like fishing?
I’d say I do, but not in a hardcore, “go every weekend” kind of way. It’s something I enjoy occasionally, especially when I need a break from the hustle and bustle. There’s something really calming about being out on the water, just waiting and thinking. For me, it’s less about the fishing itself and more about the experience—being outdoors, enjoying nature, and disconnecting from everything else. I wouldn’t call myself an expert by any means, but yeah, I do like fishing when I get the chance.
3. Do you like eating fish?
Oh, absolutely! I love fish, especially when it’s fresh. There’s nothing quite like a good grilled salmon or a perfectly cooked piece of tuna. I try to eat fish often because it’s healthy and packed with nutrients. Plus, there are so many ways to prepare it—grilled, baked, fried, in sushi—you name it. I’ll admit, though, I’m a bit picky about the kind of fish I eat. I’m not a fan of overly fishy flavors, but give me something mild and well-seasoned, and I’m all in.
4. Is fishing popular in your country?
Yeah, fishing is pretty popular here. It’s one of those activities that people of all ages enjoy, whether it’s for sport, relaxation, or even as a family tradition. You’ve got everything from deep-sea fishing along the coasts to fly fishing in the rivers and lakes inland. It’s not just about catching fish, though—it’s also about the experience. A lot of people use it as a way to unwind and connect with nature. Plus, there are fishing tournaments and events that draw a big crowd, so it’s definitely a well-loved pastime here.
